Whitney Museum

My fifteen minutes of fame has arrived. This might be the closest I ever get to being represented by the Whitney museum. I just found out that a picture of myself was posted on the Whitney museum website for their academic educational programs. Back in May of 09, I took a class through S.U. called Art in N.Y. which visited all the major museums and galleries in NYC. Pretty funny...I had no idea about it. Unfortunately, I was having a really bad hair-day that day. Oh well... still really fun to see! My B/W photo class - Fall 2009

Here's some group photos from my first teaching class at S.U... I had great time teaching this semester and felt like I had a really good class. I thoroughly enjoyed watching all my students grow and mature as photographers. By the end, I was really proud of all of them. Cheers guys!

Critique with Mary Virginia Swanson

A few weeks ago I had a critique with Mary Virginia Swanson at Lightworks. Mary is best known for providing photographers with information and resources to help further their careers. She was pretty nice and told me that I needed a website ASAP.  I couldn't agree more. Here are a few pics from the day.

Pics from my first day of teaching...

One of my students gave me a few pictures from my very first day of teaching B/W photo at S.U. In one of the photo's, I'm teaching one of my favorite students "Lady Sara" how to meter off a grey card. In the other photo, I'm showing a student how to change lenses on her camera. I'm so glad I have these pictures for myself...
